What Is Deadwood Jam?
Deadwood Jam is a long-running outdoor music festival featuring a variety of artists and musical styles. Now in its 36th year, the festival has become a September tradition in Deadwood and offers a little something for just about every music fan!
The 2026 festival will take place at Outlaw Square, right in the middle of historic Deadwood. With music, local businesses, restaurants, and the energy of Main Street all within walking distance, it’s an easy event to turn into a full weekend in the Northern Black Hills!
The 2026 Lineup
This year’s lineup brings together artists from several different genres, giving the weekend plenty of variety.
Friday, September 18, features country artists Ian Munsick and Ashland Craft. Munsick brings his modern Western country sound to the stage, while Craft blends country with Southern rock influences.
Saturday, September 19, features Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Keller Williams presenting Grateful Grass, The Burroughs, and The Hooten Hallers. The lineup ranges from blues and rock to bluegrass, soul, and high-energy roots music.

One of the best things about Deadwood Jam is that the music is only part of the experience. Deadwood gives visitors plenty to explore throughout the weekend, from historic Main Street and local shops to restaurants, entertainment, and the surrounding Black Hills.
