DJ served in the United States Marine Corps as a Reconnaissance Marine and Marine Raider and after 22 years of service was medically retired due to injuries sustained in combat. While on vacation looking for a place to retire, he and his wife Kristen and their four children fell in love with the Back Hills and moved there in 2023. DJ is an avid hunter and outdoorsman and continues service in the community as a reserve Sheriff’s deputy. As a broker associate with Great Peaks, DJ enjoys meeting new people and helping them navigate the stresses of buying or selling property in the Black Hills. He prides himself on professionalism, dependability, and a 24/7 work ethic!
